These photos were taken on a walk in the mid Blue Mountains starting at Honour Ave. Lawson. The walk combined the popular South Lawson waterfalls circuit with the Terrace Falls walk to finish at Hazelbrook station.

Reference books that cover walks in this area include a book by Robert Sloss, another by Veechi Stuart & one published by the National Parks Association: 'Bushwalks in the Sydney Region' Vol 2
The shot of the falls is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the map. What sort of fitness and balance level would be required for this do you think, say on a scale of 1 - 5 with 5 as strong.
ReplyDeleteI of course know the Lawson walk well. How did you connect up with Terrace falls? Following the creek or via the road? It's simply ages since I have been to Terrace falls ... your photo is terrific.
ReplyDeleteJulie, the combined walk is about 10Kms but no hard climb out. It does have some creek crossings that require rock hopping skills, so maybe a '4' for balance at these spots.
ReplyDeleteJoan, we followed the fire trail that runs parallel to Lawson Creek to link the two walks.
Looks magic - especially on a fine day!
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos, but especially the Terrace Falls one.
ReplyDeleteTerrace Falls is so neat and perfect!
ReplyDeleteAlmost like man-made structure!
